Local Artist Laura-Valentine to Release Debut Album
Release party also served as fundraiser for Feng Li Li Adoption Foundation
Rancho Santa Fe CA- Local Christian Artist Laura-Valentine released her debut Album “My Sweet Home” at an Album Release party Friday March 2, 2012. The party, at Village Church of Rancho Santa Fe, not only celebrated the release of the Album but also celebrated Laura-Valentine’s 16th birthday and raised money for Feng LiLi Foundation. This foundation is dedicated to raising funds for Christian adoptions.
With a country pop style & the expertise of Producers Deven Berryhill & Kevin Prince, “My Sweet Home” is already making an impact on the music industry. Laura-Valentine's song, “Just Another Girl” was a finalist for "Song Of The Year" at GMA's Immerse 2011 competition in Nashville.
Feng Li Li Foundation was formed to fund the adoptions of abandoned children into Christian families. Laura-Valentine herself was adopted from China after being abandoned at birth. The proceeds from this celebration will be applied to the adoption expenses of a 7 yr old girl in Uganda who is waiting for her adoptive family to bring her home to San Diego. All money raised that evening was matched dollar for dollar.
